Welcome to Golfwithall

Langley is one of the top tourist destinations of Washington. It is a city full of history and at the same time enjoys a modern cosmopolitan atmosphere. The old town has some of the finest historical architecture, in contrast with the gleaming modern structures in the new town.

You can get there by flying on a Washington Airline which offer budget flights daily to a nearby airport. Alternatively you can take a train or Greyhound bus from a number of other destinations.

You can stay in one of Langley's many elegant resort hotels, or for the budget traveler, the city offers a number of inns and motels. If you are staying longer, you might consider renting a holiday condo or apartment.

When you are in Langley you can simply enjoy the sun, or there are a number of other opportunities for sightseeing - a visit to the city's museums and galleries is always worthwhile. Alternatively you could explore the narrow streets of the old town on foot, shopping for souvenirs in the many charming designer boutiques. On Sundays the central park is always full of young people who meet for picnics under the shady trees. For the more active, there are opportunities to play golf or tennis. Those who enjoy water-sports can go fishing or swimming. You will probably want to hire a yacht or motor cruiser for the day to reach the best locations.

Getting around Langley couldn't be more easy. The city is well served by taxicabs and a modern bus network. If you want to venture further afield you might hire a car and take of to see the sleepy villages in the Washington countryside, or drive to the coast to while away the afternoon in one of the many secluded areas along the coastline.

Langley comes to life in the evening. The city has dozens of excellent bistros, delis, and restaurants, and there are many lively bars and clubs to while away the night into the early hours of the morning.

Whatever your interest, Langley, Washington, has something unique to offer.

Resolved Question: How is Obama going to plug the leaks?

Obama Insider Former Car Czar Rattner Rats on Obama Former Obama administration car czar Steven Rattner is coming out with a new book that depicts him swashbuckling through the financial crisis and also shows Obama as "out to get" the car companies and the administration making political decisions about how to deal with bankrupt automakers GM and Chrysler. Rattner, a former New York Times reporter in Washington, made a mint as a hedge funder, became a massive Democratic donor and returned to D.C. as Obama's point man during the bailout and takeover of GM and Chrysler. He's since been ensnared in a SEC investigation into his firm's efforts to leverage political influence and favors to win government investment deals. But Rattner's working on his image. He signed up Obama golf partner and billionaire New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg as a client and now is launching his book "Overhaul" about his time in the administration. The Huffington Post got a leaked copy and there is plenty there that will play into this years' elections - especially since this is the first kiss-and-tell book from the Obama team. Key points from the article and excerpts: -When Obama was told of the plan to pay GM CEO Rick Wagoner a $7.1 million severance package after Obama ordered that he be sacked, Rattner writes: "Suddenly I felt that I was indeed in the presence of a community organizer..." -Rattner describes presidential political adviser David Axelrod coming to car meetings armed with poll data to support the takeover and Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel identify Congressmen in whose districts large Chrysler facilities were located. -"[Obama's economic team] veered dangerously close to having the government take control of the two most troubled banks, Bank of America and Citigroup." -"If his team had linked arms with the outgoing administration, as President Bush's advisers had proposed, billions of dollars could well have been saved." -Rattner says Chief of Staff Rahm Emanual dictated Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner's schedule, public appearances and staff selections. -He says Obama economic advisers Larry Summers and Austan Goolsbee and FDIC Chair Sheila Bair as enemies who slowed down decision making with infighting -Rattner said Obama was frustrated with the auto companies from the start: "Why can't they make a Corolla?" he has Obama asking. Voting Question: Feeling depressed over a date I had a few nights ago. Advice?

Alright first off let me thank you for taking your time to read my rant, and I apologize because I'm sure there are 100's of these things on Yahoo Answers all the time. I'll try and make it quick, but warning you this might be a long post. I am a male currently 19 years old. In high school I only had 1 girlfriend in my sophomore year. That lasted 6 months, and during my junior and senior year I chased 1 specific girl, and it ended in denial. I got the excuse "I don't want a relationship right now." 2 days later she was with somebody. I'm still sore about it but it is what it is. I'm now in the Air Force stationed in Maryland. About 600 miles from my home. I have always felt alone for the past few years, but the past few months have been getting very tough. Its really getting to me the fact that I go to sleep every night in a room with just me, and nobody is next to me. I don't have anybody here to share a connection with. The fact that there is nobody in a 500 mile radius that cares about me really bums me out. I've been doing the exact routine for months now. Wake up, work, gym, shower, eat, then sleep. I just feel very lonely. There isn't many people on my base due to it being a small base. I don't really have any friends here, the ones I due work the opposite shift of me so I never see them. Well a new girl got here about a month ago, and we had talk briefly at lunch and I asked her if she wanted to go out sometime. She accepted and we exchanged numbers. At first she thought we were going to have a group dinner for her birthday, but I asked her if she wanted to hang out just her and I. She accepted, and we agreed on the following day. She had to go to Washington D.C, but she said she would go out afterwards. The next day she texts me asking if I want to go to DC with her, because she has to check something for her father. I go with her, and while we are out we stop and get food. We made great conversation, and had a good time. At dinner however she did say she was not looking for a relationship. The way she said it though didn't sound like she was trying to make it stand out, because she said it in a string of sentences. She tried to pay for the meal, but I slid my card under the reciept and I paid. We were driving back to base, and I mentioned some activitys that I like to do such as bowling, and frisbee golf, and she asked if I would let her know next time I go. We then said our goodbyes, and she thanked me for the good time. A few hours go by and I get a chat notification on Facebook with her once again thanking me for the day, and I said I was wanting a slurpee from 7/11, and she ended up going with me, and I paid for those as well, but she insisted she should pay. Anyways, its been 3 days and I didn't want to make it sound like I was to open so I have been waiting to see if she would contact me on Facebook, text, or call. So far nothing. I saw her on Facebook for a few hours last night, but never got a message. What should I do? I keep telling myself that her statement "I don't want a relationship right now" that it could change, but I think its because I don't want to accept it. I feel like after that denial from the girl before I can't do it again. I realize this post made no sense, but its more of a rant. I appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Resolved Question: Why does Obama play so much golf?

Between 2000 and 2008 one of the left’s most cherished ways to ridicule President Bush was to point out how often he went golfing. Bush’s golfing was a clear sign that he was ignoring the work he had to do in Washington and that he just didn’t care they claimed. He was a playboy, a goof off, a time waster. But now that Barack Obama has come to office all of a sudden the left has found that golf isn’t worth noting, even as Obama has played the game more in just under two years than Bush did during his entire eight-year term. The word hypocrisy comes to mind. In 2003 President Bush decided to give up golfing because he did not want families of wounded and KIA soldiers to see him playing a game while they served and died in Iraq and Afghanistan. Being seen on the golf course in wartime hasn’t seemed to deter President Obama, however. Obama even skipped the funeral of the leader of Poland, a most staunch ally, to go play golf. Few in the Old Media seemed very worried about it. But for Bush it was different. Even propagandist filmmaker Michael Moore used golf against President Bush. In his film Fahrenheit 9/11 the rotund spoofer used a clip of Bush golfing to attempt to make him seem out of touch. Additionally, Bush’s golf game was meticulously covered by the Old Media and used to make him seem tone-deaf. But as far as the Old Media is concerned, Obama “needs some downtime.” His golf is nothing to be worried about. SOURCE- Todd Warner Houston.

Resolved Question: Do you think the Obamas are too stressed out in Washington?

Poor President Obama just returned from a vacation in Maine, and now he has to take another vacation in Florida. Michelle is so stressed out that she will be going to Spain, before they take a 10 day vacation in Martha's Vineyard in August. The long hours on the golf course don't seem to relieve his stress.

Resolved Question: To all you people who hate "black people", explain this to me?

Since you hate people of black decent, you obviously don't like: Jackie Robinson, Barack Obama, Ursula Burns, Rosa Parks, MLK, Frederick Douglass, Tiger Woods, Will Smith, Lil Wayne, Benjamin Banneker, Mary MeLeod Bethune, Tyra Banks, Oprah Winfrey, and that's just a couple names off the top of my head. Since you don't like Obama, you hate the thought of free health care, you really don't like the environment(Mar. 30 2009 – Obama signs the Omnibus Public Lands Management Act of 2009, which serves to protect two million acres of land and creates a new system of land conservation for the Bureau of Land Management.), and you must despise a fair paycheck(an. 29 2009 – Obama signs the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. Reducing discrimination based on gender, age, religion, or race.) Ursula Burns: CEO, Director of Xerox Corporation. Xerox reported revenue of $17.6 billion in 2008. Burns received a bachelor of science degree from Polytechnic Institute of New York in 1980 and a master of science degree in mechanical engineering from Columbia University in 1981. Tiger Woods: Okay, maybe I shouldn't have included him, but besides that fact that he was unfaithful to his wife, he is a damn good athlete..and pretty damn sexy! Will Smith: He's a great actor. He made Music that didn't have any foul language or anything offensive in it. He is a wonderful father, Husband, and overall person. And, again, good looking.
