WAYNESBORO, Pa. The M&K Market grocery store and deli was closed after a Saturday night fire, Waynesboro Volunteer Fire Department Chief David Martin said Sunday. Nobody was hurt in the fire, which was reported when the store was closed, Martin said.

Electrical fire in Waynesboro does little damage

The Waynesboro Volunteer Fire Department responded to an accidental electrical fire at 17 W. North St., Apartment C, around 5:10 p.m. Friday. “A cell phone charger was left in the wall and the outlet shorted out,” Capt. Brian Starliper explained. “The fire did not extend and there was minimal damage.”
