Pennsylvania at Golfwithall

Belle Vernon is one of the top tourist destinations of Pennsylvania. It is a city full of history and at the same time enjoys a modern cosmopolitan atmosphere. The old town has some of the finest historical architecture, in contrast with the gleaming modern structures in the new town.

You can get there by flying on a Pennsylvania Airline which offer budget flights daily to a nearby airport. Alternatively you can take a train or Greyhound bus from a number of other destinations.

You can stay in one of Belle Vernon's many elegant resort hotels, or for the budget traveler, the city offers a number of inns and motels. If you are staying longer, you might consider renting a holiday condo or apartment.

When you are in Belle Vernon you can simply enjoy the sun, or there are a number of other opportunities for sightseeing - a visit to the city's museums and galleries is always worthwhile. Alternatively you could explore the narrow streets of the old town on foot, shopping for souvenirs in the many charming designer boutiques. On Sundays the central park is always full of young people who meet for picnics under the shady trees. For the more active, there are opportunities to play golf or tennis. Those who enjoy water-sports can go fishing or swimming. You will probably want to hire a yacht or motor cruiser for the day to reach the best locations.

Getting around Belle Vernon couldn't be more easy. The city is well served by taxicabs and a modern bus network. If you want to venture further afield you might hire a car and take of to see the sleepy villages in the Pennsylvania countryside, or drive to the coast to while away the afternoon in one of the many secluded areas along the coastline.

Belle Vernon comes to life in the evening. The city has dozens of excellent bistros, delis, and restaurants, and there are many lively bars and clubs to while away the night into the early hours of the morning.

Whatever your interest, Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, has something unique to offer.

Resolved Question: Do you think this can generate enough Business?

A family entertainment center with go-karts, batting cages, and indoor miniature golf. Across the street from a college with about 500 students living on campus and about 6-7 miles from a university with about 1500 students living on campus. Do you think this could generate enough income if no one from the community ever came at all throughout the year. The reason the miniature golf is indoors is because it is located in a part of pennsylvania that gets hammered with snow, is on a mountain, so it gets cold early. I'm doing the financials now, and the business itself looks quite profitable; however, I don't know how to predict what percentage of the on campus resident students the business would attract to know whether or not it would be enough to make the center profitable. Tanner, Yes, I am including an arcade and snack area as well. And I'm working on a name still... Fig, Within a 15-20 minute drive of where I am planning on having this business, there are 22,595 families with an average family size of 2.95 people. Also, there is nothing, literally nothing to do in the towns in which these schools are located. The closest movie theaters, bowling alleys, skating rinks, mini golf places are at least a 20 minute drive, most of the 30 minutes. There are also 4 high schools within a 30 minute drive, and I would offer them the facilities for after prom parties, homecoming parties. I also plan on having birthday parties as well as lock-ins with local churches of which there are about 42 with-in 10 - 15 minutes of the location I am hoping to utilize.

Resolved Question: How do i become a club pro at a local golf course?

I am 23 and have been playing golf for about 8 years now. I think I have a pretty good grasp of the game and usually shoot in the low 80's when I play. I have been able to teach many of my friends how to golf respectively and thought it would be awesome to eventually make a career of golf. How do I go about doing this? I understand that there are schools I could attend. How much do they cost where are they located? I live in Pennsylvania if that helps.

Resolved Question: a message to all you juggalos?

i found this long news article and want your feedback On February 1, 2006, Insane Clown Posse fan Jacob Robida engaged in a series of hatchet attacks and a shooting spree which left three dead, including himself and a police officer.1213 On February 7, Insane Clown Posse's manager Alex Abbiss extended Bruce and Utsler's condolences and prayers to the families of the victims and distanced Robida from Juggalo culture.11 Between June 18 and June 20, 2006, attacks involving Insane Clown Posse fans, some wearing clown makeup, were reported by the Seattle Times.14 The attacks left nearly two dozen injured. The group, armed with a machete, attacked, robbed, and threatened to decapitate visitors to Fort Steilacoom Park in Tacoma, Washington, shouting "Whoop! Whoop! Juggalo!" Seven suspects have been arrested, and three have been charged with assault and robbery.15 In February 2007, Colorado teenager Bryan Grove, who identified himself as a Juggalo, stabbed his girlfriend's mother to death and was arrested. His girlfriend Tess Damm, also a juggalette, and two of their friends have also been arrested in connection with the murder.16 In May 2008, arson was committed on a Spanaway, Washington house. During an investigation, the police discovered vandals had broken into the back entrance of the house, walls were kicked in and had Juggalo-related graffiti. The house had just been sold the previous weekend to a family whose husband was being redeployed to Iraq.17 On July 30, 2008 in Salt Lake City, two men attacked a teenager with a medieval battle ax. Deputies identified jewelry dropped by the attackers as being associated with Juggalos.18 During a recent Utah Gang Conference, law enforcers said they now classified Juggalos as a gang because of a continued pattern of criminal activity.18 On September 4, 2008 in West Jordan, Utah, a group of men indentifying themselves as Juggalos threatened to kill two deputies with bats and golf clubs in a church parking lot, proclaiming, "No one fucks with the Juggalos".19 On September 9, 2008 in West Valley City, Utah, two men with clown painted faces were arrested in an attempted kidnapping of a young boy. Police estimate there are between 3,000 and 4,000 Juggalos in Utah, 15 percent of them are associated with criminal activity.20 On February 4, 2009 in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, two male youths, Ian Seagraves and Shawn Freemore, who identified themselves as Juggalos on their MySpace pages, stabbed 21 year old Michael Goucher 45 times, killing him in a premeditated attack and burying his body under snow in the pocono woods i want to know do all juggalos support this and to be a fan of icp do i have to support this sort of stuff just to say i dont support this stuff

Resolved Question: My Fiancee's ex is trying to take his kids away?

Ok, so here's what's going on. As stated, my ex has two children from a previous relationship. He gets to see them every other weekend, ever since the mother took him to court and got primary custody. This is court ordered. Well, things were going pretty well, she was actually allowing him to see them more then every other weekend, even leaving the children with him for an entire week when she left Pennsylvania to get married in Kansas. I had never seen him so happy. Before the custody battle he had gotten to see them much more frequently, and it broke his heart when the court ruled he would get every other weekends. Well, things are not going so well anymore. She got married to a military man, and now wishes to move to Kansas and take the children. It started a few weeks ago, the same week his cars transmission gave out. She had come to pick up the kids and asked him if he would sign off on her going to Kansas with the children. He said "no." For health reasons, his travel is restricted, and multiple trips to Kansas would be extremely hard on him. Plus, the children's entire family(both sides) are here in PA. She tried to get the kids on her side telling the little boy" There's a mini golf course and a pool in Kansas". my fiancee still refused and for a couple weeks, she dropped it. Until last weekend that is. She picked up the children, and informed him that she had been to a judge who told her she could move, so they would be leaving for Kansas this weekend. She says the judge told her since she has no ties here, she can go where ever she wants. That strikes me as odd because her entire family is here in PA. Not to mention, Kansas is temporary, after that she doesn't know where they will be! He's devastated, and doesn't know what to do! They're his children, and she's taking them somewhere where it will be all but impossible to go see them. Is there anything he can do? Would a judge just ake that type of decision without even teling the father, or letting a second party, in this case the mother, tell him? Wouldn't there be paperwork?

ETA: He is in the process of getting a lawyer. We are trying to get the money together. I gave him all the tax refund I got back this year as soon as this happened. Just to be safe! ETA2: Oh thank you all! I mentioned the injunction thing, and how no judge would make that decision! He's going to get his mother to take him to file an injunction first thing tomorrow!
