I've been on two dates with this guy, the second date lasting 6 hours long. He's come to activites I've invited him to, one was ultimate frisbee in the dark, which I was invited to by a group of friends and the other was a boating activity with people I'm close to in church. We did those two activities previously talked about this past weekend and spent sunday a bit together as we went to a church gethering where we began holding hands for just a little bit. This guy suprised me by calling within an hour of seeing each other at the church gathering. He asked me out for a 3rd date where we are going mini golfing and then going to his house, which he lives down the street, to have a BBQ there where his dad will make the dinner. Resolved Question: 26 and Pregnant, father is not happy, what should I do?

5 weeks ago I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant. The Dad and I were "seeing each other" for 5 months but we were not officially in the boyfriend/girlfriend status because he said he wasnt good enough for me. He always made excuses that we could not be official because he didnt have the money to take me out to dinner and spoil me the way he would want to and I deserved better and that he didnt have his career up and running yet and couldnt offer what he would want to. I kept feeling it was a cop-out to being in a relationship because he didnt want to be tied down, but I loved him and would rather be with him the way it was, even if it was not official. He did always say he loved me, hadn't dated anyone for 2 years because no one sparked his interest and he spent more than half of every week with me and constantly called me, came over, spent the night etc. He would even bring up the future with me and say we would have beautiful children together- ironic. Well When I found out I was pregnant he was in shock and his first reaction was "your not going to keep it right!?" I am against abortion and I know I could not live with myself if I ever made that choice. He was in my life for the first few weeks after the news and seemed to care about my well-being however, he has def. tapered off recently. He said his dreams consist of being a pro-golfer and a child is something he deffinitly cannot handle, to the point where his life would be over and his dream would end if I have this baby. After the constant comment of him saying I needed to get an abortion and my constant reply with a 'NO,' he changed his tune and said to do what I felt was right for myself, and that he is not the kind of guy who would up and leave or ignore me. He never wanted to see his child in a broken home, and that he would be there to support my decision, even though this is not what he wanted and didnt feel ready. Recently he has been a 100% different guy. For the past 2 weeks, he has not been around and doesn't call me anymore. He seems obsessed with working, golfing and seeing "friends." We work at the same office, so the only time we talk is work related though I have not seen him in a few weeks. He does sometimes ask how I am doing when we talk but other than that, it is as if I am dealing with a whole other person and going through a pregnancy completely alone. 2 weeks ago, I broke down and cried because he wouldnt attend a wedding with me in Lake Tahoe for a friend, because he said he didnt care to meet my friends and wouldnt see them again. It hurt me so much I called me mom and cried. It was the last straw. I saw how self-absorbed he was and how much he could care a less about my happiness if it had to interfere with his own. My mom felt so sorry for me and didnt know who to turn to get some input on the baby's daddy (Lets just called him Taylor) so she didnt feel so much hatred towards him. She called me Boss who is my close friend and knows Taylor and our situation very well (4 years,) in order to get some advice on how to like this man that was in my life, since she lives in Oregon and has never met him. While they were talking on the phone the owner came in and put her on speaker phone when she was venting about Taylor. Well long story short, Taylor heard my Mom vent which she said some things she didnt mean, but didnt make her sound very stable. She played the "Mother Bear" card and it didnt go well on Taylor's behalf. He heard her say things like "If Taylor cannot treat my daughter right, I want him out of her life..." "I feel like I want to come down there with a gun in his face and say, stop treating her badly, just be nice or delete her number and leave her alone!" After that, Taylor told me he would get out of my life, not see the baby and do what my mom wants and leave me alone and he will delete me number. It was a terrible day for me and put me to bed early. Though he text messaged me later that day and appologized, saying he was upset at what had happened in the Office, I have not spoken to him since- besides through text. He is checked out. It seems my Moms phone call was too much for him and he got even more scared and ran away... Pushed him over the edge I know no one can tell me what will happen, I am just terrified to have a baby alone without a father. I pray every day that Taylor will come around if that is what is best for me and the Baby. I was born and raised Christian and this was never what I thought would happen to my life. I wont abort, I love children and am getting excited to have a baby for myself, so I am just reaching out for positives from anyone regarding what to do with Taylor. I wish I knew the percentage rate of men that choose to leave in the beginning of a pregnancy because they are scared and not ready, yet in the end come back once the baby is here and they see a little human life with half their genes. Taylor and I are Thanks you for all your answers. I appreciate them very much. Taylor finally text me today and asked how work was going in the office- as if he cant find out when he works in an hour. Anyway, I am always very cordial to him and continue to give him his space. I will see what happens in the next few months. As for me, I will continue to be strong and trust God for everything he has given me, even if it is very hard at the time being. I know he wont give me more than I can handle. Please keep me in your prayers. I dont want to stress, I know its bad for me and 'baby.' Thank you!

I head u to klamath falls every year fly fishing and golfing, and my dad and i might want to stop by there and do some fly fishing for smallmouth. i was wondering if there is shore access, and how much? Are the smallmouth there any good?
