Marion is one of the top tourist destinations of Ohio. It is a city full of history and at the same time enjoys a modern cosmopolitan atmosphere. The old town has some of the finest historical architecture, in contrast with the gleaming modern structures in the new town.

You can get there by flying on a Ohio Airline which offer budget flights daily to a nearby airport. Alternatively you can take a train or Greyhound bus from a number of other destinations.

You can stay in one of Marion's many elegant resort hotels, or for the budget traveler, the city offers a number of inns and motels. If you are staying longer, you might consider renting a holiday condo or apartment.

When you are in Marion you can simply enjoy the sun, or there are a number of other opportunities for sightseeing - a visit to the city's museums and galleries is always worthwhile. Alternatively you could explore the narrow streets of the old town on foot, shopping for souvenirs in the many charming designer boutiques. On Sundays the central park is always full of young people who meet for picnics under the shady trees. For the more active, there are opportunities to play golf or tennis. Those who enjoy water-sports can go fishing or swimming. You will probably want to hire a yacht or motor cruiser for the day to reach the best locations.

Getting around Marion couldn't be more easy. The city is well served by taxicabs and a modern bus network. If you want to venture further afield you might hire a car and take of to see the sleepy villages in the Ohio countryside, or drive to the coast to while away the afternoon in one of the many secluded areas along the coastline.

Marion comes to life in the evening. The city has dozens of excellent bistros, delis, and restaurants, and there are many lively bars and clubs to while away the night into the early hours of the morning.

Whatever your interest, Marion, Ohio, has something unique to offer.

Open Question: I want to hit the ball lower, I currently have a high, ballooning ball flight with all clubs?

- Current/Best Ever Handicap +1 - Distance hit with driver, 5 iron, SW 290, 195, 105 - Avg putts per round 28-34 - Avg and preferred ball flight depending on club AVG=high ballooning shot PREF=low shot, penetrating, that climbs - Tournament experience if any state golf tourny Ohio HS AGA tournys Regional golf league (over 100 played in) HS Club championships - Hours you do/can dedicate to golf improvement every week up to 5 days a week I have been playing a while and I play mizuno mp32 irons and a g10 driver. I have stiff flexed shafts, i was told that i need to get shafts in between stiff and x-stiff by the mizuno shaft optimizer system. How much of the undesired high ball flight do u think i should attribute to my shafts being too whippy for me, and how much should be attributed to steep swing. I dont try to lift the ball...i usually have a normal divot that enters the ground just in front of or on the spot the ball was lying. Swing speed with irons is 90-94 and driver i do not know, but probably more than that knowing my greediness to hitting it far haha. I am not as accurate since i hit the ball so high, feels like hook, slice spin is exaggerated because it goes so high, also the wind plays with it more. Willing to give up few yards if necessary to keep it lower. Let me know what you think, thanks

Resolved Question: If there is no precedent, can judge wait until a similar case is decided and follow it?

or if there is no prior case involving golf injuries but there is a prior case involving a tennis match? Must the judge follow that case? What about state to state if there is no precedent in Ohio but there is precedent in Utah. Must the Ohio judge follow the Utah decision or may the Ohio judge wait for an Ohio case to develop precedent?

Resolved Question: Did my employer break the law??

I am a 17 year old minor who works at a golf course, and was forced to retrieve a clint in an open fairway area during a terrible lighting storm. I was told that I HAD to retrieve him. I live in ohio... does this break any laws, and if so which ones specifically? The course knew there was a storm coming in, and they sent a client out walking on the course. I was told that I had to go get him. I asked if I really had to go out considering it was so dangerous, and I was told I had to since I would be safe in a golf cart. Other employees were there and heard the entire exchange, does this violate my rights???? do you really think I was safe in a golf cart in a lightning storm???? really???? ok... first of all... sorry i had a typo.... Some users have the need to be rude and talk down to others... and secondly to the MATT W answer... you don't know me and I am certainly NOT lazy, and it wasn't raining by the way... I would have told you if it was...

Voting Question: The fall of the big 12??????

Travel NCAA football consists of just 12 games in 13 weeks. But let's face it, it's not all about football. There are other sports to consider. For example, the Texas Longhorn baseball team played over 50 games against over 20 opponents. The farthest they traveled was Columbia, Mo., which is 800 miles by road. Imagine when they have to play the Washington Huskies. That's around 2,100 miles. That's a long way to go for a baseball game. Throw in men's basketball, track and field, swimming and diving, golf, and tennis, plus women's basketball, softball, tennis, volleyball, rowing, track and field, and all the others, and you've inconvenienced the entire athletic division. Not to mention the parents and fans. In the SEC, the driving distance would be around 1,000 miles tops, and that's to Gainesville, Fla. Weather It's damn cold in the Pacific Northwest and Big Ten territory October through December. Do you really want to send all those Southern boys, family, and fans to sit in an open stadium with a -10 degree windchill factor? There's a reason the good bowl games are held in the South and California. It's warm. Joining the Big Ten or the Pac-10 only puts your football team at a disadvantage when it comes to away games. Geography Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Pac in Pac-10 stand for Pacific? Good luck moving Texas and Oklahoma to the left coast. You'd be forever the outsider in the Pac-10. But the jokes should be good. The Big Ten is no better. Let's not forget our roots here. We're Southerners. We belong down South. The deeper the better. Imagine the influx of carpetbaggers when the Big Ten Network starts airing your games. If for no other reason, consider geographical pride when choosing which conference to join. Recruiting Texas is already losing top recruits to the SEC. Always have and always will. Do you want to start losing even more to the Pac-10 and Big Ten schools? Because it will happen. You may start losing even more recruits to the SEC if the kids don't want to play in the other two conferences. Competition Do you really want to be stuck playing a crippled USC, the Arizonas, UCLA, either Washington team, Iowa, Minnesota, Purdue, Wisconsin, and Ohio? If so, you'll be the new bully on the block. Your teams will only get better by playing Alabama, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, Tennessee, Auburn, and South Carolina. Four of these teams have won BCS championships. Prestige The Big 12 South has always been under the impression that they were in the best conference, period. Except for one pesky fact: That honor goes to the SEC. Well, now you have your chance. If the Big 12 South is indeed that strong, then prove it in the conference that has won half of all the BCS championships, including the last four. This is your chance to man up. Tommy Tuberville Who wouldn't want to see coach Tuberville get another shot at Nick Saban? I don't care what anybody says, if Tuberville had gotten a seventh straight win against Alabama, Gene Chizik would still be in Iowa. Better yet, Tommy Tuberville vs. Auburn. Imagine the hype surrounding that game. It would become an automatic rivalry that could last beyond Tuberville's tenure at Texas Tech. Who in the SEC wouldn't watch that game? Conclusion Money isn't everything. Well, maybe to some. But I say let's get above that fray. If there is going to be a conference realignment, let's do it to make football better. Better for the athletes, better for the parents, better for the fans. And who's to say that with the addition of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Baylor, the SEC wouldn't be the king of the machine that drives college sports these days? What do you think? Is the fall of the big 12 good or bad? To me, it is bad. Weather, Extra money being poured out. The Conferences were made so that colleges would be is a close distance for games. This is just completely stupid. Not to mention the time zones will be messed up for viewers on Central and Eastern Time Zones.
