Resolved Question: Do you think the Obamas are too stressed out in Washington?

Poor President Obama just returned from a vacation in Maine, and now he has to take another vacation in Florida. Michelle is so stressed out that she will be going to Spain, before they take a 10 day vacation in Martha's Vineyard in August. The long hours on the golf course don't seem to relieve his stress.

Resolved Question: To all of the people concerned about how much golf the President plays....?

When is the last time Obama spent a week "clearing brush" on his "ranch"?? August 2007 "Bush on track to become the vacation president," Julie Mason headlined in the August 9, 2007, edition of the Houston Chronicle:[1] "On Thursday, Bush left for a weekend in Kennebunkport, Maine, and his family's summer compound, Walker's Point. On Monday, he heads to his Crawford retreat, where he has spent all or part of 418 days of his presidency, according to Mark Knoller, a CBS News White House correspondent and meticulous record-keeper. "...The presidential vacation-time record holder is the late Ronald Reagan, who tallied 436 days in his two terms. At 418 days, and with 17 months to go in his presidency, Bush is going to beat that easily." !!!! 418 DAYS with a year left in his term.... the man had MISSED MORE THAN AN ENTIRE YEAR OF WORK in a 7 year period..... and we are concerned about GOLF???? To anyone who can even REMOTELY compare the EPIC FAILURES of G.W. Bush to the job performance of the current President of the United States.... WAKE THE F%CK UP!!

Resolved Question: Volkswagen Jetta/Golf/GTI or Audi a4?

I am 16 and looking for my first car. I have long been into European cars and Volkswagens/Audis, and often buy PVW magazine. I am looking to spend between $4000 and $7000 on a car. I have a job at the local supermarket and have saved up a decent sum of cash. My question to you is what would be a better choice: Volkswagen mk4 Jetta/GTI/Golf, or an Audi a4 b6? I am leaning towards an '99 Audi a4 Quattro that I have been drooling over for a couple weeks but I'm not sure. I have also found an '01 GTI vr6 that would do the job pretty well.. but I live in Maine and the awd is pretty appealing... anyway, what do you think? ANYTHING American is completely out of the question... Now that thats outta they way I don't mind the Japs but I know if I found myself behind the wheel of a Honda or Toyota I'd still check my mirrors anytime I saw a VW. I know some can be unreliable, but I have a good eye and I can find ones that have been properly maintained... I also know a discount parts and repair place that does a professional job for much less than even a Honda being repaired at a dealer... its completely worth it for me... trust me. Corvette... A car with over 500 horsepower... available with an automatic transmission?... NO. Why would I spend an arm and a leg to buy a redneck American overpriced GM (government motors) "sports car"!?!? Also "I don't know what I'm getting into"? Please explain.... And to the people that answered my question... Audi looks like the better choice then? THANK YOU!

he broke up with me about a week ago and well i still miss him, and i still really like him. and ik he was a jerk for breaking up with me, but i guess he had a good reason. he said this ovr txt "well im glad u still like me, but skool is coming to an end, we don't c each other as it is, and im going to b working at the golf course evry day of the summer." tht was his reason for breaking up with me. and i wanted to hang out with just the 2 of us on one of the weekend's but he was in maine for hockey. and i wanted him to b my 1st kiss...and i still do. i just...don't kno wht to do. he also said he didn't kno me enough to go out with me...but then i was thinking, "then y did u ask me out in the 1st place?" i didn't say it but i was thinking it. and i really want to get back together with him but how? wht should i do?

Resolved Question: Why are so many conservatives criticizing Obama for not attending Arlington, when the Bushes didn't either?

Not even Fox News has a problem with it, as they report on Obama's trip to an Illinois veteran's cemetery to honor our nation's veterans. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/05/31/obama-observes-memorial-day-illinois/ Glenn Beck adds to the hypocrisy and selective criticism: From the May 26 edition of “The Glenn Beck Program”: "The president has decided not to honor our troops on Memorial Day [at Arlington] ...... Maybe this has happened before. I don't recall it." From "The Christian Science Monitor" (hardly left-wing): "In fact, it’s happened before, and with Republican presidents, no less. In 1983, President Reagan attended a Williamsburg, Va., summit and sent Deputy Secretary of Defense W. Paul Thayer to lay the ceremonial wreath at Arlington National Cemetery. In 1992, President George H.W. Bush spent Memorial Day weekend at the Bush family's famed Kennebunkport, Maine, vacation spot, where he attended a wreath-laying ceremony at a local American Legion hall (and squeezed in a round of golf). Vice President Dan Quayle went to the Arlington ceremony. And on Veterans Day 2007, President George W. Bush was in Texas while Vice President Dick Cheney attended a ceremony in Arlington". http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/The-Vote/2010/0527/Obama-s-busy-Memorial-Day-weekend-Arlington-cemetery-loses-out Your thoughts on this double standard? Seth, neither Bush 1 or Bush 2 went every year. That's the point, that it's not the travesty it's being made out to be. Bmovie says: "I dont know why ANYONE is criticizing him for not going to Arlington". That's just plain funny. I hope you learn how to read soon. Bmovie - my bad. I thought you said that you didn't know of anyone criticizing him for going to Arlington. Snarkiness retracted. Goodluck says: "Why do you attack Bush for things Obama isn't doing?" I'm not doing that. I'm addressing people who criticize Obama for doing the same thing that he did. Surely you see the difference. El Tecolote: "My thoughts are that I'm still a Republican, but I hold disdain for anyone who takes the oath of office and then fails to report to Arlington on this day every year". Just to be clear, you're saying that you hold disdain for Reagan, Bush 1, and Bush 2? Mr. Wolf: "Bush JR. did not miss any Memorial Day ceremonies in Arlington". That is simply not true.

Voting Question: Why is my black & white cat turining grey and have a rough looking coat?

Could this just be shedding or what?? I started noticing this a week or two ago. I haven't changed his food (he eats raw & innova EVO & wellness grain-free) and I've been brushing him more often and I get about a golf ball sized hairball off him every day. some parts of his coat is now thinner than in other places. I have never had a cat before so I don't know if they normally look a little shabby in the winter/while shedding or what. He has a vet appt. next week, but I was just wondering if anyone knew what could be up with him looking so frumpy lately. he is otherwise fine, healthy, playful. I am giving him fish oil daily to help his coat along. he is 100% indoor cat, neutered, black and white domestic medium hair (Maine Coon mix).. thanks!!!!! his coat is just looking shabby, like it sticks all out and he just looks like a bum -- also, he is four years old! Tammy, most cats I know are on raw and do fine and my cat has been on raw for almost a year and has never had a problem until just recently when the season started to change (get really cold) and the heater started to come on full force, so I don't know --- also , I feed him Innova EVO 95% and Wellness grain-free which are two of the best commercial diets on the market, so I have no idea what you mean by "the diet I'm feeding him" -- the diet I'm feeding him is one of the best. there's no reason for this to be a nutritional thing.

Resolved Question: Red Speckled thing found on ground?

A couple days ago I found a red and green speckled thing on the ground. it was about the size of a cherry tomato or golf ball. I picked it up and kept it. Today it was red and brown and very shriveled so i cut it open. It had red insides with a yellow-tan ball in the center. The ball was about the size of a ball on a ball point pen. I live in south western Maine, near the border and I found it near my vegitable garden and there are lots of trees near this garden. If anyone knows what it is please tell me.
