Voting Question: EVERYONE HELP ME OUT TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF THIS!?

Many things can bring you joy to this world and some can even create a life changing experience. Throughout my life time i had a good amount but i feel as if this one was the one that stood out the most. Spring break 2008 was that week. Growing up as a kid i would always be the one who was stuck in my hometown while all my friends went on vacations and explored other parts of the world. In that time i wanted to get away from reality and live a dream for once. I wanted to see everything from a different perspective, a part of the world which surrounds nothing but beauty and Florida was one of them. Change came when my best friend and her family decided to invite me to Florida to stay with them for a week. We took a road trip so we also visited Tennessee, Georgia, and Kentucky which was also an exciting experience. Saturday was the day we arrived to Daytona, Florida. We didn't stay in a hotel, instead we decided to stay at their family's house. When we got there, we unpacked our bags, met all their family members, and ran outside to look around some more. It was thumbs up, i thought it was a lot better than where i live. I also noticed that the weather was a lot different too. The air so refreshing, expecially if you live by an ocean because it gives your skin that extra moisturizer it needs. Most of the times the sun was out but it did have its rainy days too. It also seemed like everywhere you turn, you would either find a lizard or a palm tree. Sunday was our first day to explore parts of Daytona. We decided to go put put golfing and ride a few go-karts. That made it feel like i was bringing back some of my childish memories. We also visited a couple old fashioned car auctions and after a while we went in town and bought some ice cream and cool souvenirs. Later that evening, we all went out to eat. They had many restaurants that i've never heard of before but the food was amazing. When we got home we all ran straight for the pool. We forget about all our miseries, and focused on what we have in store for us tomorrow. Monday was the day I finally saw an ocean. The view was so right, it had a board walk, a little town next to it, and sea shells lying around. As i looked around some more i noticed fishermen casting their nets hoping to bring home some delicious catch for the night. The water so warm, i never knew how salty it was until i got a taste of it myself. The rolling spirals of water made it even better but i wish they could have been a bit bigger. After a while of swimming, we rode four wheelers, ate some ice cream, and danced to some music that was playing from inside our car. A few moments later we left the beach to check out the town next to it. It reminded me of an outlet mall, everything was so colorful and the people looked like they were in a great mood. Tuesday we didn't do much, but it was fun as always. We stayed home because their family was having a birthday party for their daughter and we wanted to help out. They had a cookout, we played a few games, and swam in their pool. Later on when a few people left, they decided to take us shopping. We went to explore a couple malls and a few stores that i've never even heard of before. I think the prices their and where i live are identical. When we arrived home, there was another party, but it was for the younger people. We went out back to have some fun, danced to some music, swam in their pool, and laughed the whole night. We didn't get too much sleep that night, instead all of us chose to lay outside and look up at the stars above us. Wednesday was my favorite day of all, the day we went to Clearwater, Florida. tell me what you think of this essay is it good .?

Resolved Question: How has Obama administration failed already in a little over a year?

1. Both conservative and liberal protesters fill the streets 2. Our troops aren't home yet 3. MAJOR ecological disaster and it takes him 10 days to even bother checking it out 4. Major flooding in Tennessee and Kentucky 5. Iran is nuclear 6. He is a divider, not a uniter 7. NO transparency 8. Ramrodding health-care legislation through 9. Failed terrorist plots in NYC (Bush stopped them) 10. Played more golf in his first year then Bush in 8 years... Hope and Change is feels like Despair and Status Quo... Hey, libs blamed Bush for FAR less than the items I enumerated. So when people accused Bush of the craziest things, they were justified. But I levy the same criticism on Obama and I lack credibility. Hypocrites.

Resolved Question: Otter Creek golf course or Old Silo golf course?

A friend and I are going to take a short one day trip to either Otter Creek in Columbus Indiana, or Old Silo in Mt. Sterling Kentucky. I don't know how many people out there have played both, but I figured I would give it a shot. We are in the Cincinnati area, so the drive to Otter Creek is about 75 miles, and 120 miles to Old Silo. They are both about the same cost for 36 holes. Anyone have any reasons to go to one over the other? Thanks

Resolved Question: Has anyone heard of Perry Park, Kentucky?

Stay in the bed and breakfast it is supposed to be haunted. But do not go if you do not like to golf, because that is the whole point. http://www.perrypark.com/ My Aunts work there as cooks in the Kitchen. It is amazing. The food is so wonderful people talk about it in Cincinnati. It is very historic, and the people there are so friendly. The golf resort is awesome too. I personally know every employee, and can tell you, that a few of them are crazy, but for the most part the service is awesome.

Resolved Question: Wedding Reception Menu tacky?

My fiance and I come from VERY different backgrounds. To explain it simply, he grew up in a trailer park in Kentucky and I grew up on a tournament golf course. We are doing heavy hours devours at our reception and want to choose items that everyone can enjoy. This is what we're thinking: Roast Beef Carving Station Cheese Display Brie Tarts Crab Cakes Meatballs and........... Pigs in a blanket. Are the Pigs in a blanket tacky? My fiance says his family will love them, but I am worried about my family's reaction. Thoughts? I am surprised by the immediate reactions to my question. Thank you to everyone who is providing helpful opinions. I am hurt by the insults. The differences in our background is something we laugh about, and the way I explained it is the same way we jokingly tell new friends. I guess I didn't realize not everyone would get the joke. I love my future in laws and appreciate them for the opportunities they've given my fiance. The purpose of my question was to find out whether or not I was satisfying both sides of the family. Again, thank you to those who responded to the question! I do appreciate all your feedback!
