Resolved Question: Rate My NRW preview debut?

GM Josh climbs into the ring: Ladies and Gentlemen you are watching the preview debut of N.R.W. No Rule Wrestling. Well tomorrow we will have the first full episode of N.R.W. But for now we decided we need a champion before it all begins. But we are not just going to give the championship to a person we are going to make them compete for it. And me and my supervisors decided that the people who should be in this match are Devon, Dominic(me), and Sam Rich. Jordin climbs into ring: Ladies and Gentlemen, viewers of all ages this match is an elimination match for the N.R.W. championship. (waving flag by k'naan starts playing and Devon comes out riding a Harley Davidson bike holding a golf club). Introducing first from Lake Bronson, MInnesota... Devon! (Not afraid by eminem comes on and Dominic walks out wearing a beanie hat and a cross necklace). Introducing second form Norwich, Connecticut... Dominic! (25 to life by eminem comes on and Sam Rich comes out). And the final opponent from Lancaster, Minnesota... Sam Rich! (jordin sit at the announcer table with josh) Josh: Well before this match starts I think that Sam is going to win this what about you Jordin. Jordin: Well Josh as your brother I say Devon will pull out he is oblessy the weaker man in this fight but he has the most will to win. But the one thing you have to watch out for is everones finisher. Devon's power-slam, Sam's Get Rich, and probably what they want to watch out most for is Dominic's super kick cause he can pull it out from anywhere. (bell rings) (Sam runs at Dominic and Devon clothes lines both of them. And Dominc role out of the ring). Josh: And theres a clothesline by Sam.. oh and what is Dominic doing he crawled out of the ring what the H*ll. (As Sam and Devon battle the ring Dominic takes out a piece of plywood and throws it in the ring). Jordin: Dominic just threw a piece of plywood in the ring oh my god. (Dominic gets in the ring and Sam kicks him in the stomach and pulls his head back and pulls it forward to slam it on the plywood). Josh Well this is exciting so far we already have weapons in the ring. (Sam and Devon Battle it out for a couple of minutes. Devon hits the powepower-slam a near pin. And while Sam get up Dominic is right behind him). Josh: I think I know whats Dominic is thinking. he's thinking super kick. (Sam turns around and he ducks the super kick and turns it into the Get Rich). Josh: The Get Rich! The Get Rich! Theres the cover 1...2...3... and Dominic is elimated. (Sam ends up getigetting sumission hold on Dvon and Devon tapps out). Jordin: Well there you have it Sam wins. Sam is the new N.R.W. champion. Josh: I told you so. I told you so. Haha. See you tomorrow. what do you think?

Resolved Question: I'm intimidated by my WASP boyfriend. Would you be?

He was born and raised in Connecticut, his parents live on a 10acre estate, he went to a private New England boarding School, he only buys the best clothing (Brooks Brothers suits, ralph lauren polos, ray ban sunglasses, etc.), he already owns his own 2-story house and 2 cars (one of which is a $70k sportscar), goes golfing all the time, eats at $$$$ restaurants....you get my point. I, though, come from a run-of-the-mill middle class family from the suburbs, I went to a public HS and right now, I live in a crappy neighborhood in a crappy apt because I'm paying my way through medical school. I know this is stupid, but I'm a little worried about inviting him to my place and having him see that I ain't loaded and don't live a lavish lifestyle like him. But, that aside, how can I stop being intimidated by his "elite" status??

Resolved Question: are there nudist condo complexes?

I am looking for possible nudist condo complexes in Connecticut...or if there are even things such as this. I know of private communities that are all condos with a golf course, pools, basketball/tennis courts, but is all limited. I am wondering if there are those but everyone is a nudist, and preferably in CT.

Voting Question: Fun things to do with my 16 year old sister?

I CANNOT figure out what to do! She's constantly shooting me down! She's also got a brace on her foot, which limits her for a lot. But she can still do quite a bit! I've suggested, thus far: Mini Golf Candlepin Bowling Go Karts Movies (she agreed to go to the Drive-In since it'd be indoors) She's mostly interested in Anime, Asian Culture, Computers, Drawing, Spanish, and such. Any ideas for in the Massachusetts/Vermont/New Hampshire/Connecticut/Rhode Island area--I'm wiling to travel quite a bit! We're thinking of a road trip, but this weekend I'll be driving from Boston to out near Springfield then up 91 to Brattleboro VT area. Also: No Theme Parks. Not allowed with her brace. Plus, she and I hate roller coaster anyway and she can go near water.

Resolved Question: What is a court case where evidence was thrown out because the police didn't follow protocol?

I'm doing a mock court case in my law and justice class, and I am the defense attorney. It is the Martha Moxley case. Upon finding the body, the Greenwich police department (not equipped for a homicide investigation) broke a lot of rules in in the investigation. This is my theory paper: My name is Ian Urriola, and I will be defending Michael Skakel in the following proceedings. First and foremost, my client is completely innocent, and the victim of sloppy police work. But I’m first going to take you through the events of the murder. The date is October 30, 1975. Martha Moxley and her friends go out for “a night of mischief”, which involved vandalizing private property. She was supposed to be home at 10:00PM (Case Timeline), but never made it. Reports say that “sometime after 9:30 PM…Martha Moxley was murdered” (Martha Moxley Case). She was beaten with a golf club four times. She was beaten so hard, that the club broke. She was then stabbed in the neck with the jagged staff of the broken club. This was the fatal blow (Martha Moxley Case). Then, the investigation started. The Greenwich Police Department had no experience with such a major case, which led to a sloppy investigation. The police arrived at the scene fifteen minutes after the body was found. Three and a half hours later, the Greenwich Police Department called the Connecticut State Police Mobile Crime Lab (Case Timeline). This delay in requesting the mobile crime lab could have compromised any time sensitive evidence. Not only that, but there was no medical examiner at the crime scene to examine the condition of the body at the crime scene (Geringer). This could have led to the loss of any evidence that was on the body at the crime scene. The police didn’t even maintain any kind of log during the investigation. Important facts, like time of death, arrival of police, and position of the body were recorded much later. This led to some information being “estimated” (Geringer) thus compromising the entire investigation. In short, a sloppy investigation compromised evidence in the case of Martha Moxley. But beyond the investigation, there is just no way that my client could have killed Martha Moxley. As previously stated, Martha was bludgeoned with a golf club four times. Every blow was to the head. Because of the force that the murderer was using, the golf club broke in two. The murderer then killed Martha by taking one half of the golf club and stabbing her in the neck (Martha Moxley Case). My client was fifteen years old during the attack. Not only that, but he was fairly small, and pampered. There is no physical way that my client, in his physical condition in 1975, could have hit someone so hard with a golf club four times, and break it. He just wasn’t strong enough to do it. Another problem with the prosecution’s case is that my client had no motive to kill Martha Moxley. .Granted, he did seem to have a little bit of a crush on her. And she was going out with his brother. So naturally, my client would be jealous. But this gives no motive for my client to kill the Martha. This gives my client motive to kill his brother though. My client loved Martha. Why would he kill her? Finally, my client had no opportunity to kill Martha Moxley. The official time of death for Martha Moxley was somewhere between 9:30 and 10:00PM. My client was at a friend’s house during that time period (Montaldo) and left after 11:00PM (Geringer). My client could not be in two places at once. Because of his alibi, my client could not have killed Moxley. What happened to Martha Moxley was tragic. But my client did not kill her. During the trial, I will bring in reasonable doubt by showing that the police performed a sloppy investigation, and my client had didn’t have the means, motive, or opportunity to kill Martha. My pretrial is coming up, and I want to get as much evidence thrown out as possible, and in order to do that, I have to cite court cases with similar circumstances. Any ideas? This is how the mock case goes: Jury Selection: Question members of the class who we want to be on our jury, having 2 challenges per side Pre-Trial: Defendant offers plea of guilty or not guilty, argue about bail, and file motions to suppress evidence. To suppress evidence, the defense team has to find a court case where evidence was suppressed in similar circumstances. The prosecution then has to come up with a court case that is either more recent, or from a higher court (ie Supreme Court > Appellate Court) to keep the evidence in. Trial: Go through the trial, including opening statements, direct examination, cross examination, and closing arguments Verdict: Jury decides whether defendant is guilty or not guilty.

Resolved Question: Do you Christians like to laugh at jokes about the church?

You Never Hear in Church Hey! It's MY turn to sit on the front pew! I was so enthralled, I never noticed your sermon went over time 25 minutes. Personally, I find witnessing much more enjoyable than golf. I've decided to give our church the $500.00 a month I used to send to TV evangelists. I volunteer to be the permanent teacher for the Junior High Sunday School class. Forget the denominational minimum salary: let's pay our pastor so she/he can live like we do. I love it when we sing hymns I've never heard before! Since we're all here, let's start the worship service early! Pastor, we'd like to send you to this Bible seminar in the Bahamas. -- The Oil Find Two old friends met one day after many years. One attended college, and now was very successful. The other had not attended college and never had much ambition. The successful one said, "How has everything been going with you?" "Well, one day I opened the Bible at random, and dropped my finger on a word and it was oil. So, I invested in oil, and boy, did the oil wells gush. Then another day I dropped my finger on another word and it was gold. So, I invested in gold and those mines really produced. Now, I'm as rich as Rockefeller." The successful friend was so impressed that he rushed to his hotel, grabbed a Gideon Bible, flipped it open, and dropped his finger on a page. He opened his eyes and his finger rested on the words, "Chapter Eleven." -- The Christian Barber There was a barber that thought that he should share his faith with his customers more than he had been doing lately. So the next morning when the sun came up and the barber got up out of bed he said, "Today I am going to witness to the first man that walks through my door." Soon after he opened his shop the first man came in and said, "I want a shave!" The barber said, "Sure, just sit in the seat and I'll be with you in a moment." The barber went in the back and prayed a quick desperate prayer saying, "God, the first customer came in and I'm going to witness to him. So give me the wisdom to know just the right thing to say to him. Amen." Then quickly the barber came out with his razor knife in one hand and a Bible in the other while saying "Good morning sir. I have a question for you... Are you ready to die?" -- The Children of Israel Mr. Goldblatt," announced little Joey, "there's somethin' I can't figger out." "What's that Joey?" asked Goldblatt. "Well accordin' to the Bible, the Children of Israel crossed the Red Sea, right?" "Right." "An' the Children of Israel beat up the Phillistines, right?" "Er--right." "An' the Children of Israel built the Temple, right?" "Again you're right." "An' the Children of Israel fought the 'gyptians, an' the Children of Israel fought the Romans, an' the Children of Israel wuz always doin' somethin' important, right?" "All that is right, too," agreed Goldblatt. "So what's your question?" "What I wanna know is this," demanded Joey. "What wuz all the grown-ups doin?" -- The Greek Priest A Greek priest is driving down to New York to see a show, and he's stopped in Connecticut for speeding. The state trooper smells alcohol on his breath, sees an empty wine bottle on the floor, and asks, "Sir, have you been drinking?" The minister replies, "Just water." The trooper asks, "Then, why do I smell wine?" The minister looks down at the bottle and exclaims, "Good Lord, He's done it again!" -- The Three Wise Women You do know what would have happened if it had been three wise WOMEN instead of men, don't you? They would have asked for directions, arrived on time, helped deliver the baby, cleaned the stable, made a casserole, and brought disposable diapers as gifts!
